Who collects your data.
Transito is operated by Adrian Aguirre from Lima, Peru, as a personal project. For any privacy or data inquiry:
What data we collect.
- Account: name, email, hashed password and optional profile photo.
- Content you create: trips, destinations, bookings, budget, itinerary, checklist, documents you upload.
- Technical data: IP address and browser user-agent (standard server logs).
What we use it for.
To run the app: save your trips, show them when you sign in, and let you invite co-travelers if you choose to.
We do not sell data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. We do not profile users.
Where it's stored.
- Database: Supabase Cloud (us-east-1, AWS).
- App server: Hetzner Cloud (Germany).
- Files: avatars and documents in Supabase Storage.
- Editorial images: served from Pexels CDN without collecting your personal information.
Cookies.
We only use authentication cookies (required to keep you signed in) and a cookie to remember your language preference. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
For site usage analytics (how many people visit, from where, what pages they see) we use our own cookieless system that does not collect personally identifiable data.
Your rights.
At any time you can:
- View your data: from your profile.
- Correct it: by editing your profile.
- Delete it: by deleting your account. All associated data is removed in cascade.
- Export it: contact us by email and we'll send a file with your information.
Minors.
The service is not designed for users under 16. If we discover that someone under that age has created an account, we delete it.
Changes to this policy.
If we update this policy, we'll indicate the new date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll notify active users by email.
