The service.

Transito is a free web app for planning personal trips. The service is provided as is, without any warranties. By creating an account and using the app you accept these terms.

Your account.

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One person, one account. Do not create fake accounts or use someone else's.
• If you notice unauthorized access to your account, write to us right away.

Your content.

The content you create in Transito (trips, photos, documents, notes) remains yours. We do not claim ownership and do not use it for any purpose beyond running the app for you.

You only grant us permission to store, process and display it while your account remains active.

Acceptable use.

You may not:

• Attack, hack or overload the infrastructure.
• Upload illegal content, malware, spam or material infringing third-party rights.
• Harass, threaten or harm other users.
• Access other users' data without authorization.
• Use the system for unauthorized commercial purposes (e.g. reselling the service).

Co-travelers (Squad).

If you invite someone to a trip, that person will be able to see and eventually edit the trip's content according to the role you assign. You are responsible for who you invite. Whoever accepts the invitation must also comply with these terms.

Account suspension.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or compromise the security of the system. When reasonable, we'll notify you by email before doing so.

No warranties.

The app is offered without guarantees of availability, error-free operation, or eternal preservation of your data. We recommend exporting and backing up critical trip information (tickets, important documents) before traveling.

We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or improvements. If the service shuts down permanently, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can download your data.

Liability limit.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for direct or indirect damages derived from the use of the app, including but not limited to: data loss, poorly planned trips, booking cancellations, budget calculation errors, or decisions made based on the displayed information.

Deleting your account.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. When you do, all associated data (trips, bookings, documents) is removed in cascade from our database and storage.

Changes to the terms.

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the app after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.

Applicable law.

These terms are governed by Peruvian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts of Lima.
